Project pricing
Cleanup & catch-up projects
Cleanup and catch-up work is quoted as a fixed project fee after reviewing your books, in QuickBooks Online or whatever platform you use. The price depends on how many months are involved, how many accounts need reconciling, and the condition of the books — you'll know the full cost before any work begins.

Pricing questions
- What does the setup fee cover?
- Onboarding, a review of your books (QuickBooks Online or whatever platform you use), chart-of-accounts review, and initial setup of your monthly workflow. If the books need significant cleanup first, that is quoted separately.
- Do you bill hourly?
- No. Monthly packages are a flat fee so you always know what bookkeeping costs. Cleanup and catch-up projects are a fixed fee agreed on in advance.
- Which package is right for me?
- Most small businesses fit the Professional package. The discovery call is the best way to find out — we'll go through your accounts, payroll, and reporting needs together.
- Do you prepare tax returns?
- No — and that's by design. Every package ends the year with a CPA-ready package your tax preparer can work from directly, and I'm happy to coordinate with them.
- Do you work on-site or remotely?
- Both. Every package is delivered remotely through a secure client portal, so location is never a barrier. For businesses in New England — especially Northern Massachusetts — on-site visits are available: one quarterly review is included with the Complete and Advisory packages, and additional visits can be added to any package.
- Do I have to use QuickBooks Online?
- No. I'm a QuickBooks Online Certified ProAdvisor, but I'm happy to work in whatever bookkeeping platform you already use, such as QuickBooks Desktop, Wave, Peachtree/Sage, or others. You don't have to switch software to work with me. If moving to a different platform would genuinely save you time or money, I'll tell you, but it's always your choice.
